There's the story of the man who asked
a saint to give him the vision of God, the saint took held
his neck and held it under water until the man could take
no more. The saint said how did you feel, the man said I felt
like I was going to die without a breath of air. The saint
said when you feel like that about God and do naam simran
like you're going to drown if you stop, then it won't be long
before you meet.
