Guilt Trip Think about the 5 enemies attacking you.
How would you conquor them. Read the following from a Master
Warrior: All of a sudden, if you encounter a surprise
attack, you must quietly await the moment, watch the oncoming
force, then use the appropriate response. If you wish to understand
this theory, you must first appreciate the technique; when the
techniques is clearly understood, then thoroughly investigate
the basic principles. If you don't understand the basic principles,
progress will not be easy and it will be difficult to achieve
perfection. If you have a clear knowledge of the basic principles,
spare no effort and avoid indolence. When practise and theory are combined
they serve to verify one another. When one has undergone many
forms of training and experiences they become second nature.
Once expertise has been achieved, you should aim to become better
and better and attain the Tao of skill so that you can ascend
the highest pinnacles. Tai Chi - Sabre Sword and Spear by Cheng
Tin-Hung (tai chi master and champion, practiser for 43 years) OK OK He's talking about physical combat,
but the same principles apply to fighting the 5 enemies. Lets
break it down:
1. Alwaya be alert for a surprise attack
eg Lust 2. Watch oncoming force eg as GuruKhalsa
wrote "I am feeling lustful and I am just going to accept
it. 3. Use appropriate response eg GuruKhalsa
wrote "I am not going to fight it and I am not going
to deny it." 4. To understand this technique one
must understand the basic principles. The basic principle
is that 'Humility and Love' can conquor the world. You could
get angry at yourself for failing to beat lust. Which would
lead to self-hatred and a guilt complex. You could alternatively
fail to beat lust but then say 'Hey its no big deal, the whole
world is caving in to lust.' But that leads to ego and you
fail more and more often. You could say 'I'm going to fight
and fight, I'd rather die than give in' but that leads to
insanity...the more you fight the more appealing it becomes,
until that's the only thing on your mind instead of naam simran.
Or you could fight as best you can, if you fail, then you
say 'Guru Jee I am full of faults, you are perfect save a
sinner like me. Baba jee give me the strength to conquor lust.
I may have lost this battle, but through your mercy I know
I will win the War.' 5. If you dont understand the basic
principles of 'humility and love' then progress will be difficult,
as you will always trapped in guilt, or arrogance. 6. When this theory is combined with
your practical life then conquoring the 5 enemies will become
second nature. Each time they attack you use the situation
to fall at Guru Jee's feet and become more humble and loving
'Vaho Vaho Sachey ma teree tek, hao papee too nirmal ek' Wonderful
wondeful True One, I seek your refuge. I am a sinner, You
are the Perfect One. 7. Once expertise has been achieved,
you should aim to become better and better until the ultimate
Supreme Being has been realised.
